About our program
Welcome to the Lathrop Jr. Spartans Football and Cheer program. This will be our 10th season in Delta Youth Football League. Our staff and coaches have been part of DYFL for many years and know and understand league rules. The founders of this franchise are excited to bring you a better choice in Lathrop and are committed in putting the needs of the children and parents first. Our goal is to be the best and well-organized Franchise in Lathrop. To meet this goal our Staff will manage the franchise and seek your help in making this a successful franchise. Our staff shall strive to keep the cost down and to allow all children an equal chance to play. Our staff and coaches have been appointed for their dedication, experience and knowledge and not for their personal egos and self image. All returning and new coaches will be reviewed for their dedication, their abilities to coach and communicate with children, parents and other staff members. We find this to be the key in a happy and successful franchise. As president I will strive to have the best coaches to better assist the children and parents of the Lathrop Jr. Spartans. We hope to bring you a family atmosphere in which you and your children will be comfortable and happy. We’ll do our very best to keep you updated on games, practices and special events. Information shall be available soon on our web site. The Lathrop Jr. Spartans are governed by DYFL.
